Introduction
AxiomMed works with two dental clinics in Chișinău: Atmosfera and ArusDent. We are a facilitator, not a dental provider. The clinics carry out the dental assessment and treatment, and we take care of the travel side. This page explains who the two clinics are, which treatments our pages cover, and how a dental trip is organised.
The two dental clinics
Atmosfera offers routine check-ups and preventive care, restorative dentistry, aesthetic dentistry and minimally invasive treatments. The clinic says it puts comfort, transparency and personalised attention first, and its dentists have trained in Moldova and abroad.
ArusDent is a family-run clinic, modest in size, that focuses on personal attention combined with modern techniques. Its team is young, and staff have taken part in seminars and trainings abroad.
Both clinics are described here the way they present themselves. We do not rank them against each other. Which one suits you depends on your treatment and on what you want from a clinic.
Treatments on our pages
Our service pages describe, among other treatments, cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers and All-on-4 dental implants. Whether a treatment is suitable for you is something only a dentist can decide after examining you.
How a dental trip works
- You tell us what you need and we match you with one of the clinics.
- You receive a treatment plan and quote in writing before you book, and you can ask questions.
- We arrange travel, hotel and transfers.
- The clinic treats you, and your dentist tells you how long you need to stay.
- After you return, we stay in contact with the clinic for up to 2 months for your questions.
Prepare before you go
- Ask your current dentist for copies of your X-rays and treatment records, so the clinic can see your history.
- Write down any medication you take and any allergies, and tell the clinic.
- Ask how many visits your treatment needs and how long you must stay. Your dentist decides this, and it differs per treatment.
- Ask whether any part of the treatment needs a follow-up at home, and who would carry it out.
Good questions to ask
- Who will treat me, and what are their qualifications?
- Which materials and brands are used?
- What is included in the price, and is the quote in writing?
- What guarantee or follow-up is offered?
- What happens if I need an adjustment, and who pays for it?
Every treatment carries risks and results differ per person. This article is general information, not medical advice.
